Indoor Golf League – Season 2!

Good Day Golfers,

Season 1 of our Indoor Golf League is coming to a close, a big thank you to all 32 players and 8 teams that took part! We are looking forward to season 2!

League Details:

• When: Starting Mid-June, will run for approx 8-10 weeks with playoffs!
• Flexible Play: Post your scores any time during the week or join us on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm for some friendly competition, food, and beverage!
• Format: 4 Player Teams, 9 Hole Stableford Format
• Location: The Academy
• Entry Fee: $100 per team
• Prizes: Exciting prizes await the Season 2 Champions!
• Scoring: Best 2 scores each week contribute to the team score.
• Handicaps: Handicaps will be applied for fair play.

Further Details for the league are below!

• The league can be played at anytime during the week but also we will host a “League Night” on Thursday’s from 5:30/6:00PM where players can post their scores and beverages can be brought along or purchased at next door’s Mirage 38! (Thursday Night is Happy Hour all Night).
• We will have a new course every week and Season 2 will run till the end of August!

• You will take a photo of your scorecard that will appear on screen and text it to me at my cell which is on the Blue folder in the Academy. Or grab one of us at the academy and we can take a note of your score when you are finished!

• We will have a weekly set up sheet available at the academy for course setup and to ensure correct settings.

• We will use 10 FT gimmies for our putting settings.
• I would recommend before you start your round, practice putting on the GS PRO software to get a feel for how hard you need to hit putts.

• Due to the nature of Indoor golf where sometimes the simulator misreads shots…(for example, knocking the ball accidentally and the sim thinks that was an attempted shot) we will have mulligans active.
• This MUST only be used for situations where a mis read has occurred and not for example a hooked ball OB re-tee. 😉

• We will be using the Stableford Points scoring system. This system is great for pace of play as if you look like you are on for a double, pick up!
• We will use the best two scores from the four players each week to count towards the team score.
• We will take your 18 Hole Handicap Index, divide it by 2 for 9 holes and then your index number will be the points added onto your score at the end of the nine holes. (For Ex, 10 Index = 5 Index for 9 holes therefore 5 points added).
• The Indoor League Commitee (Coaching Team) will have the right to adjust handicaps during the season to represent fairly the player’s skill level.
