At Hal Sutton Golf Academy, we don’t just teach golf—we build golfers. Our mission is to help every player understand why the ball does what it does, not just how to fix it. We combine Tour-proven philosophy, cutting-edge technology, and personalized coaching to unlock your best game.
Unlike other programs that rely on quick tips or one-size-fits-all instruction, we take a performance-based approach—blending technical skill, body mechanics, and mental focus to help you play your best when it matters most. Whether you’re a beginner or a competitive player, you’ll experience measurable improvement, deeper confidence, and a clearer understanding of your swing.
This isn’t just golf instruction—it’s coaching for long-term growth.
Located in North Houston, we have everything that we need to help get your game to the next level. Expertise? Check! Experience? Check! Facility? Check! Technology? Check! People that care? Check! We like to say we come from a place of knowledge. We’ve been there before and know what to expect. Our 5,000 square foot facility features the latest and greatest in golf technologies.
We have 6 simulator hitting bays, a putting green, major manufacturer fitting carts, a full repairs workshop and plenty of lounge areas to hang out and watch and chat golf. Our technology includes TrackMan, Foresight GCQuad, 3 Uneekor EYEXO’s, a Swing Catalyst 3D Force Plate, and much more!

Golf Instructor
Dee was born and raised in South Texas and has been involved in golf for over 60 years. He started competing at an early age and was privileged to be mentored by the late Texas Golf Hall of Fame member Tommy Aycock in his younger years. A gratuate of Texas A&M University and PGA Class A, Professional, which was earned at The Woodlands Country Club, has now turned his attention to passing along his knowledge of the game to others.
“Although all golfers have their own style, I am a firm believer in sound fundamentals, and the development of good physical and mental practice habits. To improve performance, the students must be able to transfer their skills to the golf course. We must practice like we want to play, which includes both the mental and physical aspects of the game.” – Dee
